Akshay Kumar has completed 40 per cent of the action sequences for A.R. Murugadoss’s remake of his Tamil superhit film Thuppakki. Along with action director Greg Bowell, a major fight sequence has been planned on a ship between Akshay Kumar and actor Freddie Daruwala, who will be making his debut as a villain with the film that has been titled Bahadur.
Murugadoss wanted to film the sequence in June, but rains disrupted the shoot. The director has now decided to shoot on the ship during final schedule, post monsoon. He will rent out a ship and plans to anchor it in the middle of the Arabian Sea. “Akshay Kumar is happy with this decision of postponing the shoot. He has been extremely busy and has been unable to give dates for this final action sequence,” reveals a crew member. The crew will be filming three songs next, the first beinga romantic number featuring Sonakshi Sinha and Akshay Kumar.
