Story-

The  kingdom  of  Arendelle  has  two  princesses,  Elsa  (Idina Menzel),  the  soon- to- be  Queen,  and  Anna  (Kristen Bell).  Elsa  has  the  ability  to  create  snow  and  ice,  but  suppressed  these powers  after  a  traumatic  childhood  incident  involving  Anna.  After  her  cryokinetic  powers  got out  of  hand  during  her  official  July  coronation,  she  goes  into  hiding,  but  her  emotions  trigger a  magical,  eternal  winter  that  freezes  the  entire  kingdom. 

The  arrogant  Duke  of  Weselton  (Alan Tudyk)  plots  to  turn  everyone  against  "the monster"  Elsa for  his  own  devilish  needs. Anna,  a  fearless  and  daring  optimist,  must  journey  with  extreme mountain  man  Kristoff  (Jonathan  Groff)  and  reindeer  sidekick  Sven  in  an  epic  journey, encountering  mystical  trolls,  a  comical  snowman  named  Olaf  (Josh Gad),  Everest- like  extremes and  magic  at  every  turn  in  a  race  to  find  Elsa  (now  known  as  the  Snow  Queen),  save  their kingdom  from  eternal  winter,  and  make  things  right  before  it's  too  late.

Frozen  underwent  several  story  treatments  for  several  years,  before  being  commissioned  in 2011,  with  a  screenplay  written  by  Jennifer  Lee,  and  both  Chris  Buck  and  Lee  serving  as co- directors.  The  film  premiered  at  the  El   Capitan  Theatre  on  November 19, 2013,  and  will go into  general  theatrical   release  on  November 27.

The  Hobbit:  The  Desolation  of  Smaug  is  an  upcoming  2013  epic  fantasy  adventure  film  co-written,  produced  and  directed  by  Peter  Jackson.  It  is  the  second  installment  of  a  three- part film  series  based  on  J. R. R.  Tolkien's   1937  novel  The  Hobbit,  beginning  with  An  Unexpected Journey  (2012)  and  set  to  conclude  with  There  and  Back Again  (2014).  The  three  films together  act  as  prequels  to  Jackson's  The  Lord  of  the  Rings film  series.

The  storyline  continues  the  events  of  An  Unexpected  Journey,  in  which  the  hobbit  Bilbo Baggins  (Martin  Freeman)  travels  with  the  wizard  Gandalf  (Ian  McKellen)  and  a  company  of thirteen  dwarves  led  by  Thorin  Oakenshield  (Richard  Armitage)  into  the  Kingdom  of  Erebor, taking  them  through  Mirkwood,  Esgaroth,  and  Dale  to  combat  with  the  dragon  Smaug (Benedict Cumberbatch).

Jackson  wrote  the  screenplay  with  his  longtime  collaborators  and  Lord  of  the  Rings  co-writers  Fran  Walsh  and  Philippa  Boyens,  and  Guillermo  del  Toro,  originally  chosen  to  direct the  Hobbit  films.  The  film  also  stars  Evangeline  Lilly,  Lee  Pace,  Luke  Evans,  Ken  Stott, James  Nesbitt  and  Orlando  Bloom.

The  Hobbit : The  Desolation  of  Smaug  is  scheduled  to  premiere  on  2 December 2013  in  Los Angeles,  and  will  be  released  internationally  from  11 December 2013.  Like  its  predecessor,  the film  used  a  shooting  and  projection  frame  rate  of  48  frames  per  second.  The  new  projection rate  was  advertised  as  "High  Frame  Rate"  to  the  public.

Story

A  Canadian  novelist  named  Yann  Martel  meets  an  Indian  man,  Pi  Patel,  with  some  knowledge from  Pi's  late  father's  friend,  known  to  Pi  as- "Mamaji",  for  a  good  book.  Pi  tells  the  novelist his  life  story. In  a  flashback,  Pi's  father  named  him  Piscine  Molitor  after  a  swimming  pool  in France.  By  the  time  he  reached  secondary  school,  he  changed  his  name  to  "Pi"  (the  Greek letter )  because  he  was  tired  of  being  called  "Pissing  Patel"  (due  to  the  pronunciation  of  his name).  Pi's  family  owned  a  zoo,  and  Pi  took  great  interest  in  the  animals,  especially  a  Bengal tiger  named  Richard  Parker.

When  Pi  tries  feeding  the  tiger,  his  father  runs  in  and  angrily  tells  him  that  the  tiger  is dangerous,  and  forces  Pi  to  witness  the  tiger  killing  a  goat  to  prove  his  point.  Pi  is  raised Hindu  and  vegetarian, but  at  12  years  old,  he  is  introduced  to  Christianity  and  then  Islam,  and decides  to  follow  all  three  religions  as  he  "just  wants  to  love  God".  His  mother  supports  his desire  to  grow,  but  his  father,  a  rationalist,  tries  to  convert  him  to  his  own  way  of  thinking.

When  Pi  is  16,  his  father  decides  to  move  the  family  to  Canada,  where  he  intends  to  settle and  sell  the  zoo  animals.  Pi's  family  books  passage  on  a  Japanese  freighter  named  Tsimtsum. During  a  storm,  the  ship  founders  while  Pi  is  on  deck.  He  tries  to  find  his  family,  but  a member  of  the  crew  throws  him  into  a  lifeboat.  As  the  ship  falls  into  the  sea,  a  freed  zebra lands  on  the  boat  with  him.  Pi  watches  helplessly  as  the  ship  sinks,  killing  his  family.

After  the  storm,  Pi  finds  himself  in  the  lifeboat  with  the  injured  zebra,   and  is  joined  by  an orangutan.  A  spotted  hyena  emerges  from  a  tarp  covering  half  of  the boat  and  snaps  at  Pi, forcing  him  to retreat  to  the  top  of  the  tarp  while  it  kills  the  zebra  and  orangutan.  Later, Richard  Parker  emerges  from  under  the tarp,  killing  the  hyena.

Pi  retrieves  biscuits,  water  rations  and  a  hand  axe  and  builds  a  small  raft  to  stay  at  a  safe distance  from  Richard  Parker.  Pi  begins  fishing  and is  able  to  feed  Richard  Parker.  He  also collects  rain  water  for  them  to  drink.  When  the  tiger  jumps  off  to  hunt  fish,  Pi  considers letting  it  drown  but  ultimately  helps  it  climb  back  into  the  boat.  During  a  night- time encounter  with  a  breaching  humpback  whale  Pi  loses  much of his  supplies,  forcing  him  to eat fish  for  the  first  time  in  his  life.  Pi  trains  Richard  Parker  to  accept  him  in  the  boat  and realises  that  caring  for  the  tiger is  keeping  him  alive.

Life  of  Pi  is  a  2012  American- Indian- British  3D  live- action  and  computer- animated  adventure drama  film  based  on  Yann  Martel's  2001  novel  of  the  same  name.  Directed  by  Ang  Lee,  the film's  adapted  screenplay  was  written  by  David  Magee,  and  it  stars  Suraj  Sharma,  Irrfan Khan,  Rafe  Spall,  Gérard  Depardieu,  Tabu,  and  Adil  Hussain.

The  storyline  revolves  around  a  16- year- old  Indian  boy  named-  Piscine Molitor "Pi"  Patel,  who survives  a  shipwreck  in  which  his  family  dies,  and  is  stranded  in  the  Pacific  Ocean  on  a life boat  with  a  Bengal  tiger  named  Richard  Parker. The  film  had  its  worldwide  premiere  as  the opening  film  of  the  50th  New  York  Film  Festival  at  both  the  Walter  Reade  Theater  and  Alice Tully  Hall  in  New  York  City  on  September  28, 2012.

Life  of  Pi  emerged  as  a  critical  and  commercial  success,  earning  over  $609  million  worldwide.  It  was  nominated  for  three  Golden  Globe  Awards  which  included  the  Best  Picture – Drama  and  the  Best  Director  and  won  the  Golden  Globe  Award  for  Best  Original  Score.  At the  85th  Academy  Awards  it  had  eleven  nominations,  including  Best  Picture,  and  won  four (the  most  for  the  evening)  including  Best  Director  for  Ang  Lee.

The  Hunger  Games  film  quadrilogy  is  a  series  of  four  science- fiction  dystopian  adventure films  from  Lionsgate  based  on  The  Hunger  Games  trilogy  novels  by  the  American  author Suzanne  Collins.

The  films  star  Jennifer  Lawrence,  Josh  Hutcherson,  Woody  Harrelson,  Liam  Hemsworth  and Donald  Sutherland.  The  first  installment,  The  Hunger  Games,   was  released  on  March 23,  2012  and  set  records  for  opening  day  ($67.3 million)  and  biggest  opening  weekend  for  a  non- sequel.

At  the  time  of  its  release,  the  film's  opening  weekend  gross  ($152.5 million)  was  the  third-largest  of  any  movie  in  North  America.  The  film  was  both  a  critical   and  box  office 

success.

The  tetralogy  was  produced  by  Nina  Jacobson and stars  Jennifer  Lawrence,  Josh  Hutcherson and  Liam  Hemsworth  as the  three leading  characters,  Katniss  Everdeen,  Peeta  Mellark  and  Gale Hawthorne.  Two  directors  worked  on  the  tetralogy - Gary Ross and  Francis  Lawrence.

The  Hunger Games : Catching  Fire,  the  second  film  in  the  series,  will  be released  on November 22, 2013.  Mockingjay,  the  third  and  final  novel  in  the  series,  will  be  adapted  into  two  feature-length  parts.  Part  1  will  be  released  in  November 21, 2014  and  Part 2  will  be  released  in November 20, 2015.

Following  the  release  of  Suzanne  Collins  The  Hunger  Games  on  September 14, 2008,  film studios  in  Hollywood  began  looking  to  adapt  the  novel to film.  On  March  4, 2009,  it  was reported  that  Color  Force,  a  small,  independent  studio  founded  in  2007  by  producer  Nina Jacobson,  had  purchased  the  film  rights  to  The  Hunger  Games.

Following  the  purchase  of  the  film  rights,  Jacobson  sought  out  production  company  Lionsgate in  order  to  help  her  make  the  film.  Color  Force  was  too  small  to  produce  the  film independently,  and  would  not  be  able  to  distribute  it.  On  March 17,  it  was  reported  that Lionsgate  would  distribute  the  film.

 It  was  also  reported  that  Collins  herself  would  adapt  the  novel.  At  that  time,  she  had  finished  Catching  Fire,  which  was  set  for  release  that  Fall  and  was  in  the  process  of  writing  Mockingjay.  She  would  begin  the  first  draft  after  she  finished  writing  the  last  book.

The  search  for  a  director  began  in  2010. 

 It  was  reported  in  September  2010  that  three  directors  were  in  the  running;  David  Slade (The  Twilight  Saga : Eclipse),  Sam  Mendes  (Revolutionary  Road)  and  Gary  Ross  (Seabiscuit). It was later  confirmed  that  Ross would  direct. By this  time  Collins  had finished  the  script,  Ross decided  to go  through  the  script  with  Collins  and  veteran  screenwriter  Billy  Ray.
